SESSION SUMMARIES 1. Inauguration & Outcome-Based Pedagogy in Classroom Trainer: Dr. P. Raja, Professor, EEE, NIT Trichy Venue: DSU-SET AI Lab The session focused on aligning classroom teaching with learning outcomes, CO-PO mapping, assessment methods, rubrics, and NAAC/NBA alignment, strengthening faculty understanding of OBE implementation. 2. Effective Teaching-Learning Pedagogy & AI-Based Active Learning Trainer: Dr. A. Vimal Jerald, Assistant Professor, CSE, St. Josephs College, Trichy Faculty explored learner-centric strategies such as Think-Pair-Share, case study learning, and AI tools for content creation, assessment automation, and personalized learning. 3. Hands-on Training on CO Framing, CO-PO Attainment & CQI Trainer: Dr. P. S. Mayurapriyan, Assistant Dean (NBA), Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore Participants practiced measurable CO framing, attainment calculations, documentation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) strategies. 4. Documentation & Accreditation Practices (NBA, NAAC, NIRF) Trainer: Dr. K. Sankaranarayanasamy, Former Director, NIT Puducherry The session emphasized structured documentation, evidence-based reporting, benchmarking, and data-driven quality assurance. 5. NEP 2020 - Reforms in Teaching & Curriculum Development Trainer: Dr. M. Venkata Krithiga, Assistant Professor, EEE, NIT Trichy The session covered competency-based learning, multidisciplinary curriculum flexibility, integration of technology-enabled teaching, project-based learning, and teacher empowerment. EXPECTED OUTCOMES Clear understanding of Outcome-Based Education aligned with accreditation standards. Ability to design COs, POs, and mapping strategies effectively. Better use of AI and technology-enabled teaching tools. Strengthened assessment methods and outcome measurement. Enhanced adoption of student-centric and experiential learning methodologies. CONCLUSION The FDP equipped faculty members with practical tools, frameworks, and policy insights to improve academic quality and innovate classroom practices. Participants found the sessions informative, motivating, and implementation-oriented.
